In Eskişehir, located in the northwest of Turkey, the newly opened "Odunpazari Modern Museum" is devoted to modern and contemporary art from Turkey and the world.
The modern design of the museum is based on the history of the location in the province of Odunpazari; this is made visible by the horizontal wooden planks in the exterior and interior. A local partner of AQUASYS integrated a high-pressure water mist system into this architecturally complex new creation. The minimal water requirement of the AQUASYS water mist system protects not only the works of art but also the building structure from damage in an emergency.
The installed system consists of an electrically operated supply unit with a capacity of 336 liters. The 182 high-pressure nozzles, distributed over four levels, protect exhibition areas and gastronomy areas. In the event of a fire, the system ensures maximum safety with minimum risk of unintentional water damage. Due to the excellent cooling properties of water mist, the exhibits are ideally protected against flame attacks. The system was installed and commissioned by our local partner.
