Together with our long-standing sales partner Consilium, we ensure reliable firefighting in the new locomotives of Iarnród Éireann (Irish Rail).

These modern traction units are built by the renowned Korean company Hyundai Rotem. In close cooperation with Consilium Marine & Safety, an AQUASYS partner for many years and specialist in detection and fire alarm systems, a detection and firefighting system was developed to protect the critical technical areas of the trains.

The individual protection concept ensures independent firefighting for the main critical areas of the engine compartment and the fuel tank. In addition to automated triggering in the event of a fire, the system can also be activated by additionally installed manual triggering devices if there is no power supply at all.
